Set in a picturesque setting in Edgerley on the banks of the River Severn, we are located approximately 10 miles from Shrewsbury and 9 miles from Oswestry, close to the Shropshire/Powys border.
Originally a single room inn, the Royal has been gradually developed and expanded to offer drinks and dining in a delightful setting, offering a mixture of both the modern and the traditional.

Plenty of warmth in the colder months together with substantial outside seating for when the sun is shining.

Served daily six days a week, including a Sunday Carvery and Pizza & Burger Nights, booking is highly recommended.

We have 2 pool tables, 2 dart boards and 3 tv screens showing live sports with plenty of additional seating available.
Open Daily All Year Round.
The Royal is open 7 days a week from midday to 11pm, with delicious home cooked food served between 12pm to 2pm & 5pm to 8pm Tuesdays to Saturdays and 12pm to 3pm & 5pm to 7pm on Sundays.
